The periodic table


The periodic table is a tubular display of the periodic elements organized on the basis of there atomic numbers. The person who created this was Dmitri Mendeleev in the year 1864. The rows on the periodic table are called period and the columns are called groups.There are 18 groups and the names are:1.Alkali Metals
2.Alkaline earth metal
3.Scandium
4.Titanium
5.Vanadium
6.Chromium
7.Manganeses
8.Iron
9.Cobalt
10.Nickel
11.Copper
12.Zinc
13.Boron
14.Carbon
15.Pnictogen
16.chalcogen
17.Halogen
18.Noble gasses
