Daily Blog Post

Dear Santa,
I cant wait for you to come this year, I am really excited. I have been told by my friend Jessica Cox that you aren't real but I dont believe her because I have heard you before and I heard your reindeer.

This year I been a very good girl and for being good I would like a present. I know this sounds greedy but I would really like an iphone 5s. That is the only present I would like this year because I am going to America and dont need anything else. I have helped my mum around the house this year and have got a job to help the doggy day care. At the doggy dare I cleaned out the back and took the dogs for walk. So since I have helped out and been good this year I really would appreciate the present I would like. Thank you.

I was wondering if you would like a different snack by the chimney this year? I saw last year that you didn't drink all the milk, so is there something else that you would like? I also saw that you munched all your way through the cookies so I will leave out more this year.

I can't wait to see you!

From Milly

45 Minute Inquiry

A rose by any other name is a famous quote written by Shakespeare in the year 1600.
It originated from his play Romeo and Juliet. The full quote is 'a rose by any other name would smell as sweet' and that was said in act 2 scene 2 by Juliet.
'A rose by any other name' means what matters is what something is, not what it is called. Juliet said this to explain her love to Romeo and show that his name dosent matter to her. The word rose does not just mean a rose but also it mean Romeo.

In the 21st century there was a American romantic comedy loosely based on Romeo and Juliet.
