As the boys were making there movie they had to involve a cookie pad. When Connor through the cookie pad and it went down the bank into the bush. The boys tried to be sneaky and not tell anyone that they lost the cookie pad.

George Finn was autistic he was also savant. Savant people are very special, there are lots different types savant people. George Finn could tell the weather and if you gave him a date like 3rd or August 1969, he could tell you what day of the week it was. Which was amazing. Some savant people have an amazing memory like Daniel Tammet he memorized and recited 22,000 numbers of pi. It took him over 5 hours. I wonder if he could of done more?
Now there are only roughly 52 savant people in the world. I hope that we see more savant people because they are just so amazing.

We should have homework.
For:
* Homework is good because it gives us extra work and extends our minds to make us better learners.
* It is good to do homework because it gives us some responsibility to make sure we finish it and bring it back on time.
* Homework prepares us for the future and we get extra learning which is always good.
Against:
* You have to find time after school to do it because if you have a lot of things on after school it can be hard to finish on time sometimes.
* If you dont do homework you may not get a better job when your older because you will do extra learning.

School uniforms are good.
For:
* School uniforms are good because in the morning you all ready know what your going to wear.
* You dont have to worry about what your clothes look like because everyone is wearing the same thing.
* Its fine having a uniform because you also get mufti days sometimes during the year when you get to wear your own clothes, which that can be a nice change for a day every now and then.
Against:
* It can be a bit annoying having a uniform because you have to wear the same thing every single day.

Languages
Rimu year 8s are learning languages this term, we got split into two groups between the two classes. One group is learning Sign Language and the other Mandarin. I am conjointly in Sign Langage. We have learnt all of our vocabulary and have learnt how to say hello, goodbye and also introduce ourselves.
